About & methodology

Hoops Gear Rankings is an independent comparison site. We compile products from manufacturer and retailer pages and rank them against a stated use case.

What we do

• List only real, currently listed products, each linked to the page the specs and price came from.
• Record the date each price was checked (currently Oct 15, 2026).
• Publish the ranking criteria on every comparison page, in priority order.

What we don't do

• We have not tested these products hands-on.
• We do not publish star ratings, scores or invented reviews.
• Commissions (if any, in future) never change rankings.

Limits

Specs are as claimed by sellers. Prices and availability change often; always confirm on the seller's page. Where a price could not be verified we say so.

We post on X as @thehoopsintelhq (opens in new tab).
